Know your Sewing Machine One on One Class


Did you just get a sewing machine or do you have one in your closet?  This class is for you! I will teach you how to thread your machine, how to use it and what all those little feet are for.  You will leave here so excited at all that you have learned and be surprised at how comfortable you'll feel. Call or email to schedule your class at your convenience.  (One hour class)


Private Sewing Class

Already know how to sew or just want  a one on one lesson to learn the basics then this is the class for you. If you are trying to develop your own project and need a little help or inspiration, then call or email to schedule your class today. You will be surprised at the how much you will learn in an hour. (One hour class)


Kids Sewing Class

Four weeks: Each class is 2 hours long!!

Kids sewing classes are for children under 13 years old. In this small class each child will learn at his/her own
level to use a sewing machine and a pattern. I will provide the supplies for the first class, your child
 will decide what he/she wants to make and get the appropriate supplies for the remainder of the session.
Classes are two hours per week and run for four weeks. 




November: Wednesday 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd

Teen Sewing Class

Four weeks: Each class is 2 hours long!!

If you are interested in fashion or want to learn how to make something else and don't know how to use a sewing machine this class is for you. You can bring your own sewing machine or use mine. Supplies for first class will be provided and I will help you figure out what you need to bring for the last three classes. If there is something you already have that you want to work on bring it to the first class. 

October: Tuesday Classes

Teen sewing class


Adult Sewing Class

Four weeks: Each class is 2 hours long!!
Come and learn something you have always wanted to, SEWING!!! In this class you will learn how to use a sewing machine and how to read patterns. You pick your own projects to work on! The possibilities are endless. No sewing skills or prior sewing knowledge is required for this class. You can bring your own machine or use one of mine.

October: Wednesday Classes

4th, 11th, 18th & 25th
10am-12pm 0r 6:30-8:30pm

November: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22th
10am-12pm ( 2 spots left)

Adult Sewing Class


Nesting Sewing Class

Four weeks: Each class is 2 hours long!!
Learn basic sewing skills before you have your baby or grandchild. Learn how to use your sewing machine and read a pattern. Now you will be able to finish any last minute decorating and create adorable projects for your new baby or grandchild. You pick your own projects to work on! No sewing skills or prior knowledge is required for this class. You can bring your own machine or use one of mine.


Memory Makers Monday
Each class is 2 hours long!!
Come in with your favorite person and make memories!!! You can come in to sew, knit or craft. You can bring your own projects to work on or projects are also available for purchase in the studio. A portion of each class fee will  be donated to a charity of your choice!

Here is a basic sewing list of supplies needed for sewing class

Box or Basket to hold supplies
Hand sewing needles
Marking Pencil
Material
Measuring Gauge
Shears (Scissors)
Seam Ripper
Sewing Machine Needles
Tape Measure - 60 inches
Thimble
Thread

Tracing Wheel
Wax or Marking Paper

 

·         Students are to be on time. If you can't make a class or you are going to be late or absent please call the studio.


·         Students are responsible for cleaning his/her own work area before leaving class.


·         All sewing notions, materials and equipment should be labeled by student to avoid confusion.


·         If you have a sewing machine I recommend you bring it, that way you are comfortable using it once you get home.


·         I provide the supplies for the first class. Student will provide the supplies for the remainder of their classes.


·         In addition to the above items a suitable pattern, fabric and notions will be approved during the first class.


·         You have 60 days from end of the session to make up any missed classes. It is your responsibility to check availability for the makeup class.

*Important - We must have 3 individuals signed up by 5:00pm the day before a class starts or the class will be canceled. If you are paying on-line after the cut off time, please call to make sure the class is still being taught.
