All classes are for four weeks, two hours per week. Learn a new life long skill or pick up an old one. You will leave learning a lot more than you expected. Become a life long sewist.
Adult Sewing Class
If you have never operated a sewing
machine or your skills are a little rusty, this class will
teach you basic sewing machine skills. This is the classes to help you gain confidence in your abilities. Looking to make
some changes around the house? This classes will have you
adding that personal touch. Looking to make clothes for you or your little one this is the place to be. Classes run for three weeks, two hours per week.Wednesday, December 7th, 14th, 21st

Kids Sewing Class
|Adult sewing 3 weeks|
Kids sewing classes are for children under 13 years old. In this small class each child will learn at his/her own level to use a sewing machine and a pattern. I will provide the supplies for the first class, your child will decide what he/she wants to make and get the appropriate supplies for the remainder of the session. Classes are two hours per week and run for three weeks. Sunday classes are December 4th, 11th, 18th

Teen Sewing Class

Four weeks 2 hours per week
Teen classes are for 13 to 18 year olds. If you are interested in fashion or want to learn how to make something else and don't know how to use a sewing machine this class is for you. You can bring your sewing machine or use mine. Supplies for first class will be provided and I will help you figure out what you need to bring for the last three classes. If there is something you already have that you want to work on bring it to the first class.
Tuesday classes are December 6th, 13th, 20th and 27nd

You don't need these for the first class, but you can start
collecting them as you see them because they will come in handy as you as
learning to sew.
Shears (scissors) and Thread snips
Pin cushion or magnetic pin bowl
Hand sewing needles and Beeswax or Thread Heaven
Tape measure - 60 inches
6 inch measuring gauge
Sewing machine needles
Wax or marking paper
Box or basket for notions
Students are to be on time. If you
can't make a class or you are going to be late or absent please call the

cleaning his/ her own work area before
All sewing notions, materials and
equipment should be labeled by student to avoid confusion.
If you have a sewing machine I
recommend you bring it, that way you are comfortable using it once you get
Supplies for the first class will be
provided, the additional classes the student provides the supplies needed.
In addition to the above items a
suitable pattern, fabric and notions will be approved during the first class.
You have 60 days from end of the
session to make up any missed classes. It is your responsibility to check
availability for class makeup.

*Important - We must have 3 signed up by 5:00pm the day before a class starts or the class will be canceled. If you are paying on-line after the cut off time, please call to make sure the class is still a go.
Know your Sewing Machine One on One Class
Did you just get a sewing machine or do you have one in your closet? This class is for you! I will teach you how to thread your machine, how to use it and what all those little feet for.
